We are a family owned and operated business, committed to providing a comfortable home away from home. In recent time, we have transitioned to a Business-Related lodging property. Making our rooms available to industrial companies in need of housing for their employees. Family stays may not extend pass 30 days. You may visit our office during business hours or appointment. If our office is closed during business hours we are likely working on the property. Please call us and we will be more than happy to meet you. The office is located in between the water well and the rooms. There are many new changes to come for your convenience and extended comfort.
City of Charlotte
Charlotte is in Atascosa County, Texas. The population approximately 1,596 as of 2023 census. It is part of the San Antonio Metropolitan Statistical Area and Home of the Charlotte Trojans!
Town History
Charlotte is a sister city to Christine and Imogene. All three were named after the daughters of Dr. Charles Simmons, who aided in the development of Atascosa county. The town of Imogene died early- in fact she never got far past the planning stages. She did have an oil company housing project for a time, but it is long gone.

Charlotte and Christine are doing fine. The land for Charlotte had originally been the Tobey Ranch. Jourdan Campbell (whose name lives on in Jourdanton and Cambellton) was part owner. The town was not platted in the traditional grid pattern, but as a wagon wheel, with the spokes leading to the town center. (A plan popular with jungle tribes in Venezuela and Brazil).
